“Hope for the Holidays” a Hope Auction to benefit Sisters’ Hope Foundation

Sisters’ Hope Foundation is excited to announce a special fundraising event “Hope for the Holidays” a HOPE Auction to benefit the mission of our organization. The event will include Basket raffles, 50/50 drawing, food and beverage sales, craft corner for the kids, pink lemonade stand, hot chocolate bar sponsored by Twisted Sisters Ice Cream and Handmade Chocolates, a visit from Santa Claus on Saturday afternoon and much more. Special guest author: Sidney Starliper will be available with copies of his book, “In Search of Helen from Two Locks” and provide autographs. Sidney’s mother and sister passed away from ALSP. 

When: Saturday, December 4 (11:00am EST – 6:00pm EST) and Sunday, December 5, 2021 (10:00am EST – 2:00pm EST)

You will have a chance to meet Sisters’ Hope Foundation Board Members and families affected by ALSP. Hear their stories and support them as they prepare for Vigil Neuroscience’s natural history study and clinical trial launching in 2022.

Hope Auction (Basket raffle) – tickets will be available for purchase at the in-person, two-day event and available for purchase online starting November 19 – December 3 for those who can not attend the in-person event. There will be exclusive in-person items, you do not want to miss.

Raffle items include: Authentic Louis Vuitton and Coach, Vera Bradley, a Stand-Up Paddleboard, Tailgating set, Yeti’s, pampering items, chance to win a wall of beer, Sisters’ Hope swag, gift cards, wine and wine related items, wreaths, Christmas items, and much more. 

How it works:

In-person raffle ticket sales – Bidders buy tickets and use them to bid on over 100 items. The more you want something, the more tickets you buy and put into the bag to increase your chance to be drawn as the lucky winner.

Not all items are shown on-line, more raffle items and exclusive items will be available at the in-person event.

Winners must pick up the winning items at the Orwigsburg Mason Lodge on Sunday, December 5 from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm EST or Monday, December 6 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm EST.  If you are not local and wish to have your winning item(s) shipped, you are responsible for all shipping costs.

*Raffle item winners will be drawn at 2:00 pm EST on Sunday, December 5. Winners will be notified as soon as all tickets are drawn. You do not have to be present to win.

50/50 winners will be drawn at 6:00pm EST on Saturday, December 4 and Sunday, December 5 at 2:00pm EST. You are welcome to participate both days. 50/50 tickets can only be purchased at the in-person event.

Food will include authentic Schuylkill County delights such as perogies’, halupkies’, shoofly pie, apple dumplings, as well as hot dogs and lots of homemade desserts.
