Kim Cade

Kim Cade is a former banker of 31 years where she worked in various areas of financial institutions, most notably as a facilitator for learning and development and as a business banker which allowed her to build and reorganize business banking and treasury management segments for two credit unions. A native of California, Kim resides on California’s Central Coast in Morro Bay. She enjoys taking advantage of the beautiful hiking and running trails, wine tasting, and spending time with her wife, Beth, and their families. Kim became part of the Sisters’ Hope Foundation when her youngest brother was diagnosed with ALSP and then her middle brother followed with symptoms of the disease. Kim has the CSF1R gene mutation without symptoms. As a family, their goal is to help spread awareness and contribute to finding treatments for ALSP patients.

Kim enjoys connecting with large donors and working on fundraising initiatives. Kim’s focus, while serving as part of the Board, will be on Donor Relations. Her EndALSP fundraiser held in Porterville, CA in September 2022 was a huge success.

Kim has shared her story with the American Brain Foundation and with industry partners to help raise awareness about this rare disease which affects her and her siblings.
