ALSP Community mourns the loss of Mark Poirier

It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of an ALSP family member. Mark lost his battle with ALSP on Monday, August 8, 2022. The Poirier family was the first family to contact Sisters’ Hope Foundation for guidance and support. We’ve stayed in touch through Mark’s journey and finally had the chance to meet his precious wife and daughter at the 2022 United Leukodystrophy Foundation Conference.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family as they navigate life without Mark by their side.
